District Co-operative Bank has sealed three guest houses in Kaliyar. All three had taken a loan under the Veer Chand Garhwali Yojana scheme, which was not repaid by them.Taking action in Kaliyar, District Co-operative Bank BT Ganj branch manager Ombir Singh and Naib Tehsildar Sureshpal Saini said that these guesthouses had taken loan in 2008 under the Veer Chand Garhwali scheme which was to be completed in 2018 but after repeated requests and The loan was not given by them even after giving notice.Now after deducting RC by Tehsil, all three guest houses have been sealed. In the sealed guest house, 26 lakh was pending on Gulshan Guest House, 1.5 lakh on Zeenat Guest House and 16 lakh on Sabri Dua Hotel. Manager District Cooperative Bank BT Ganj Roorkee Omveer Singh, Naib Tehsildar Sureshpal Saini, Amin Malkhan Singh and the team of Revenue Department should be included in the team.
